Welcome to Transforming Communities: Technical Assistance, Training, and Resource Center

TC-TAT provides constituent-driven training, technical assistance resources, and peer learning opportunities for advocates and communities to advance new thinking and strategies to transform and prevent violence against women (VAW) and to promote safety, justice, and equality.

As one of the first comprehensive, VAW prevention training and resource centers in the nation, TC-TAT uses a holistic approach that integrates theory and practice. We have relied on the “real life” experience of advocates and communities to inform our strategies to strengthen the collective efforts of VAW and allied organizations, policy makers, and funders to build a strong social movement and to create sustainable, community-based prevention initiatives.
